After graduating from NYU in 1982, Vivian worked in accounting for many years in the engineering, trucking, and education fields. In 1995, she became the executive director of a for-profit school, growing the population from 150 to over 600 students.

In 2005, she decided to be home with her daughter.

Later, she added the insurance field to her resume by joining KRA. Initially, she was part-time, but she gradually took on more responsibilities in the accounting and office administration area. In 2014, she became the manager in charge of all accounting responsibilities.
